Xcede Group would like to announce the departure of our founder and CEO, William Jacques, who has decided to step away in order to spend more time with his family. We are saddened by his departure as he has been an integral part of our organisation since its conception in 2003.
During his tenure, William has led Xcede with unwavering dedication. He has been an inspirational leader who has motivated us to aim high and pursue excellence in everything we do. His strategic insights, adaptability, and exceptional leadership have propelled Xcede to new heights of success and growth.
William helped to evolve Xcede into one of Europe’s leading digital recruiters, empowering digital transformation and innovation among our client base. Xcede has also been recognised as one of The Top 75 Best Small Companies to Work for in London in both 2018 and 2019, as well as being named in The Sunday Times 100 Best Small Companies to Work for in the same years. William further bolstered the workplace culture by organising and hosting multiple holiday incentives to destinations such as Chamonix and Monaco.
Finally, one of our most notable achievements in which William played an integral role was the merger with TechStream and Etonwood in 2020. He guided the restructure, harmonisation, and global expansion of the group throughout COVID and beyond while driving new initiatives around employee engagement, diversity, inclusion, corporate social responsibility, incentives, and communications.
Adam Blaney, Xcede Group’s Chief Operating Officer expressed the following sentiment:
“It has been a pleasure working with William focusing on continuing to grow the Xcede Group brand internationally. I wish him and his family all the best moving forward.”
Similarly, Adam Marsh, Xcede Group’s Managing Director shared the following:
“What an incredible journey. It has been a pleasure working alongside William for the last few years. His commitment and drive are second to none. We will continue to foster success on the strong foundation that he has built for Xcede Group.”
As we say goodbye to William, we want to express our deepest gratitude and appreciation for everything he has done for our organisation.
